You will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment for our customers and assisting with various tasks to enhance their experience. Responsibilities Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly manner. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Prepare food items according to established recipes and guidelines, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. Sanitize work areas and equipment regularly to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Upsell menu items and promote special offers to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales. Operate the POS system for processing orders and payments effectively. Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Adhere to food handling guidelines to guarantee the safety and quality of all food products. Experience Previous experience in a grocery store or food service environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with cash handling procedures is an asset. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and sanitation practices is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
