John M Hardy Dr, Abbeville, LA 70510 Overview We are seeking a motivated Sales Associate to join our team at Pawn Smart, we are a locally owned brick and mortar business located in Abbeville and Lafayette, we sell a range of items from jewelry, gaming systems/televisions to musical instruments, Tools and Firearms as well as much more. Being in the pawn industry you will see a wide range of items come through the doors, everyday is different, The ideal candidate we are searching for will possess strong customer service skills and a passion for helping customers find the products they need. As a Sales Associate, you will be ensuring items are taken in at good quality and checked, ensuring that they are in working order. As well as making sure the showroom is kept clean and in order so that the customers will have a safe shopping environment. Responsibilities :

Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Communicate effectively with customers and team members, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette when necessary. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, ensuring compliance with store policies. Running background checks for customers wishing to purchase firearms. Qualifications Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers. Proficiency in cash handling and basic math skills as well as basic IT knowledge. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
