Cashier/Sales Associate Food Port International Market Hyannis, MA 02601 Job Overview We are looking a motivated and customer-focused Cashier/Sales associate to join our team. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while efficiently handling transactions and maintaining a welcoming shopping environment. You will play a key role in enhancing the customer experience through effective communication and product knowledge. Duties Process customer transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Provide customer service by assisting customers with inquiries and product selections. Organize and restock store display areas as needed. Run opening and closing procedures. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members. Knowledge of Eastern European languages is desirable. Familiarity with grocery store operations is advantageous. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
