The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service, ensuring a smooth shopping experience for our customers. As a Store Clerk, you will be responsible for various tasks that contribute to the overall efficiency of the store, including sales and maintaining store organization. Duties Assist customers with their purchases and provide product recommendations to enhance their shopping experience. Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products and increase sales. Handle transactions accurately using the POS system. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store, ensuring shelves are stocked and displays are appealing. Communicate effectively with customers and team members to address inquiries or concerns. Stay informed about current promotions and product offerings to assist customers effectively. Qualifications Previous experience in wine sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required. Strong handling skills POS systems. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; previous wine sales or knowledge are a plus. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being able to work independently when necessary. Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on maintaining store standards. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to customer service and sales techniques.
