Understand how to access and read production and/orfinancial performance reporting for your department See theconnection between consistent execution and the positive impact itcan have on the business Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and KeyAccountabilities Provides assistance to Members by answeringquestions regarding meats, poultry, and seafood. Makesrecommendations on food products when necessary. Weighs, packages,wraps, and labels cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood, includinggrinds. Assists the meat cutter in packaging freshly cut meats andseafood. May grind hamburger meat. Inspects and stores meat upondelivery. Ensures that all delivered meat meets or exceeds companyquality standards. Ensures the meat, seafood, prepared foods, andcheese cases are fully stocked. Rotates meats, poultry, seafood,prepared foods, and cheeses according to expiration dates. Followsestablished guidelines when disposing of damaged and/or expiredproducts. Receives and unpacks meat, poultry, seafood, preparedfoods, and cheeses in the meat cooler and freezer. Cleans andsanitizes all equipment, display fixtures, and areas in the meatdepartment, including the meat cooler, freezer, and refrigerateddisplay cases. Maintains all club policies and procedures .Performs other duties as assigned, including working in otherdepartments as needed. Regular, predictable, full attendance is anessential function of this job. Qualifications Previous experienceworking with fresh and processed meats preferred. Knowledge ofautomatic/hand wrapping machines preferred. Prior experienceworking in a meat and/or deli department preferred. At least 18years of age. Environmental Job Conditions Most of the time isspent moving about frequently on hard surfaces. There may be a needto occasionally position oneself to examine or scan merchandise,including bending, handling, pulling, reaching, and/or stooping.

Frequently requires lifting objects up to 30 pounds. May requirelifting and moving heavy and/or awkward objects more than 30 poundswith assistance. Located in a comfortable indoor area withinfrequent exposure to temperature extremes and loud noises. Theremay be occasional exposure to cleaning agents. In accordance withthe Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a goodfaith estimate of the compensation range for this position. Actual salarieswill vary depending on factors including but not limited tolocation, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay rangefor this position is starting from $16.25.
