The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy operations by assisting pharmacists in providing high-quality patient care and medication administration. This position is essential for maintaining the efficiency of pharmacy services within a hospital or clinical setting. Responsibilities Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications to patients. Provide excellent patient service by answering inquiries and addressing concerns related to medications. Maintain accurate medication records and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Support medication administration by preparing doses and ensuring proper labeling. Utilize aseptic technique when handling sterile products to prevent contamination. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care in acute care settings. Stay informed about medical terminology and pharmacy practices to enhance service delivery. Perform inventory management, including ordering, stocking, and organizing pharmaceutical supplies. Skills Knowledge of pharmacy operations and procedures, including medication administration. Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to pharmacy practice. Experience in patient care, particularly in a hospital or clinical environment. Familiarity with aseptic techniques for handling medications safely. Excellent communication skills for effective patient service and teamwork. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician is a plus but not required.
