As a Ride Operator at Six Flags New England… You’llContribute to our Mission by:

• Providing guests with a safe andenjoyable ride experience
• Entertaining guests and calming theirnerves as they board our world-class rides and attractions
• Controlling buttons and switches to launch attractions out onto theride course
• Ensuring the overall safe operation of your assignedride or attraction
• Making sure seat belts are tight, loose itemsare secure, and lap bars are locked to keep guests safe
• Enforcingrider restrictions and ensuring guest meet the height requirements
• Assisting guests in and out of ride vehicles and cycle throughthe line with a safe sense of urgency
• Keeping ride patios, queuelines, and midways clean and looking great
• Acting as a firstresponder to ride emergencies to keep guests calm
• Enforcing allSix Flags New England policies
• Assisting in other areas of theRides Department
• Performing other incidental and related dutiesas required and assigned You’ll do it with your:
• Ability to workin an environment as fast-paced as our coasters
• Ability to passride certification tests
• Strong attention to detail andcommitment to safety
• Friendly, outgoing personality invitingguests to your boarding station
• Positive attitude to make guestsexcited about their ride
• Ability to remain calm in stressfulsituations You’ll know you’re ready when:
• Must be 18 years orolder
• Willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends,and holidays
• Able to communicate effectively in the Englishlanguage, including the ability to read, speak, and understand theEnglish language
• Able to meet the physical demands of the job,with or without reasonable accommodations, including walking longdistances, standing for long periods of time, lifting, working atheights, etc.
