Retail Associate (Full Time) 2.8 2.8 out of 5 stars 1200 W Columbus Ave, Springfield, MA 01105 Position Summary The Retail Associate is responsible for interacting with customers and providing excellent customer service. Possesses cannabis product knowledge, provides product recommendations, and processes sales transactions while contributing to the company’s sales success. Responsibilities & Duties Provides friendly, knowledgeable, and compassionate customer service. Educates customers on the brand, product options, and regulatory compliance. Processes transactions accurately and efficiently using a computerized system. Authorizes and monitors facility access for employees, customers, and visitors by checking IDs, providing escorts, and completing and retaining applicable records while maintaining the customer experience. Contributes to meeting the company’s sales goals by using Insa sales standards. Performs order fulfillment and restocking as needed. Willing and able to accommodate a flexible schedule, including evening, weekend, and holiday work. Maintains compliance with Company SOPs and state regulations. Ensures the work area is kept in clean and safe condition. Actively contributes to maintaining a safe work environment by following applicable safety procedures, wearing appropriate PPE, and reporting injuries, near misses, and hazards to management. Behaves in a manner that is positive, productive, cooperative, and encourages teamwork. Performs other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications & Experience Must meet the cannabis regulatory requirements by state. High school diploma or GED required. Previous retail, hospitality, and/or customer service experience required. Basic computer skills required; POS software and cash management experience preferred. Basic math skills including adding and subtraction required. Must have reliable transportation.
