THE JOB:
Asa Sportsbook Clerk at MGM Springfield’s Sportsbook, you will play avital role in enhancing the guest experience by assisting them inplacing wagers on various horse racing and sporting events worldwide,all while adhering to the established departmental policies andprocedures. Your customer service skills and knowledge of wageringprocesses will ensure that guests receive accurate and efficientassistance, contributing to a lively and engaging environment.
STARTINGRATE
$16.00 per hour with tokes
THE DAY-TO-DAY
Make payments onwinning tickets in an accurate and timely manner; verify tickets andpayoffs Stock Race & Sports book Writer/Cashier’s stations withadequate supplies; keep all stations neat and clean Create and enterplayer tracking cards Explain wagering rules, including betting linesand odds, and procedures to guests
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
Must be 18 yearsof age Has a high school diploma, GED or equivalent Can work variedshifts, to include weekends and holidays
