Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Print Specialist with knowledge of Graphic Design programs to join our dynamic team. The Print Specialist will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while performing print production processes. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of various printing techniques and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service Excellence:
Greet and assist customers with their print service needs, ensuring a positive and professional experience. Provide expert advice on print options, materials, and finishes to meet customer requirements. Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly and effectively, aiming for swift resolution and satisfaction. Maintain a customer-first approach, ensuring all interactions reflect the company’s commitment to superior service.
Print Production:
Operate and maintain a range of printing equipment, including digital printers, large format printers, and finishing machines. Prepare files for printing, ensuring they meet technical specifications and quality standards. Perform printing, finishing and packaging of print work from start to finish. Monitor print jobs to ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely completion. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on print equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
Quality Control:
Conduct thorough quality checks on all print jobs to ensure they meet the highest standards of accuracy and finish. Collaborate with team members to address any issues or discrepancies in print output.
Administrative Duties:
Maintain accurate records of print jobs, including customer details, job specifications, and completion times. Process payments, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in customer service. Proficiency with various printing equipment and software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong customer relationships. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Basic technical skills for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with digital and large format printing. Willing to train right candidate. Knowledge of color management and print finishing techniques. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite software.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs occasionally.. Standing for extended periods and sometimes performing repetitive tasks. Comfortable working in a production environment with exposure to print equipment noise and chemicals.
