Retail Sales Associate/Budtender The Verb is Herb 74 Cottage Street, Easthampton, MA 01027 The Verb is Herb is looking for a few individuals to work as part-time, on-call Sales Associate(s) at our retail location in Easthampton MA. As a Sales Associate at The Verb is Herb this position will require strong customer engagement skills, a basic understanding of cannabis, completing accurate and compliant transactions, fulfillment of orders, all while providing top notch customer service. Previous Customer Service and Retail experience is absolutely a plus, but not required! This position is about organization, compliance, energy, knowledge, and delivering the highest level customer experience possible. •Please note, that this position requires availability on evenings and weekends and some holidays!!•

CORE JOB DUTIES

Comply with Cannabis Control Commission regulations as they relate to the cannabis industry. Must act with honesty and knowledge to promote culture, values and mission of the company. Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality. Ensure all operational policies and procedures are known and followed, including those for cash handling and safety and security. Maintain a tidy, safe and professional work environment. Excellent communication skills Knowledge of cannabis strains and applications helpful. Understand and explain testing results, strains, cannabinoids and their different effects. Ensure departmental and dispensary compliance with organizational standard operating procedures (SOPs), and all applicable state and local statutes, rules and regulations!!!!! Facilitate the exchange of cash register drawers and sales reports. Prevent the diversion of cannabis. Work a flexible schedule based on needs of the company. Ensure each customer is provided excellent customer service that exceeds expectations and inspires confidence Creatively deal with problems and resolve them in a professional matter. Team-player mentality. Requirements Must be at least 21 years of age Strong attention to detail Superior customer service skills Attention to detail with the ability to multitask Excellent communication skills Must have the ability to lift 50lbs. push or pull 100lbs. with assistance and stand for long periods of time Strong software and computer skills Passion for cannabis Must be able to pass any required background checks CORI Must be available to work nights and weekends
