Costumed Greeter Description:
The Old North Church & Historic Site is currently interviewing for Costumed Greeters. This is a part-time seasonal position that involves weing visitors, answering questions and helping them navigate the campus. We are currently looking for candidates available for 3-5 hr shifts on Thursdays and Saturdays between 11-4pm. Greeters will be able to choose their hours.
the position:
Greeters will be responsible for weing guests as they enter or approach the Old North campus and driving ticket sales by providing detailed information about the various visitor experiences on site. They will also be responsible for answering general questions about the Old North Church, the North End and the Freedom Trail. Greeters will be provided with an 18th century costume to wear during shifts and will be taught how to wear it For Greeters that are interested, t will be the opportunity to be trained in ticketing and work additional hours.
Qualifications:
Outgoing personality with excellentmunication skills Comfortable approaching and talking with visitors Dependable and punctual Cheerful and enthusiastic: the visitors should feel that they are speaking to a friendly representative of the Old North Church. Must befortable speaking with visitors for an entire shift Must befortable being photographed Bilingual abilities are a plus Must befortable working independently throughout the day
