Obsessed with creating a unique interaction between our employees, customers, and the Good Day Farm brand, they will lead and direct all efforts required to achieve all Retail channel goals. This role is based in our western Missouri market and the candidate should reside in the region or be willing to relocate.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Display a dedicated approach to motivate, develop, and retain talent. Strategically position talent for future growth and expansion; build clear professional development plans and opportunities. Lead a growing retail team and fosters a people-first, success-oriented, accountable environment. Bring an intense DEIB focus to all decisions, including talent acquisition and employee experience strategies to attract, train and promote a diverse workforce. Coach and develop direct and indirect reports. Empower team members with accountability and ownership. Build, drive, and protect a rewarding and engaging culture; understanding what makes GDF unique along with an awareness of industry best practices. Constantly lead with a mentality of continuous improvement. Drive our values that reward, promote, and encourage high performance while ensuring we always do the right thing for our people. Represent the needs and interests of the retail team and business at corporate and in the Leadership setting when making company decisions. Create a consistent in-store experience for customers across the retail field; Work with field leaders to ensure store experience meets expectations. Identify future customer opportunities by understanding product and service requirements. Roll-out new store technologies that improve the customer experience with cross-functional teams. Work with Retail Operations team to build and uphold seamless store operational procedures. Control channel expenses and maintain budgets on a monthly and annual basis. Effectively manage workforce hiring, scheduling and productivity across stores Own and manage the retail P&L across all locations. Leverage weekly business reports and analytics that offer fact-based summaries of performance and facilitate decision-making; understanding key performance indicators and correlating behaviors to impact each driver. Build business cases to support all new business ideas and retail extension opportunities. 15+ years of experience leading retail teams, with a clearly defined vision and passion for the retail experience. 8 – 10 years of experience managing multiple geographies and complex retail P&L. A people-first leader who understands how to motivate, inspire and hold teams accountable. Super smart; able to evaluate and translate data into action. Possesses excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to create and articulate how to turn any challenge into an opportunity. Inspired by the evolution of the industry and store experience, adaptable and able to seamlessly lead through change. Able to execute strategies quickly and effectively. Strong sense of accountability and ownership Clear and concise communicator
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Retail Ops, or similar area Equivalent work experience will be considered.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Ability to travel via vehicle or plane as needed. Alternate sitting or standing at will. Keyboarding. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
