Role:
We’re seeking a warm, personable, and creative team member who loves both retail and content creation. This role combines in-store sales and social media engagement — building relationships with our loyal customers while thoughtfully representing Lauren Alexandra online. You will also help keep the store beautifully stocked and communicate trends, customer feedback, and ideas directly to the owner.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional, relationship-based customer service Develop in-depth knowledge of store inventory, new arrivals, and gift registry offerings Assist in restocking staples and merchandising the store with intention Capture and post engaging social media content (Instagram, Stories, Reels, etc.) Reflect the brand’s visual and emotional tone in every online interaction Communicate regularly with the owner about customer feedback, popular items, and ideas Support event prep, seasonal promotions, and special projects as needed
Ideal Candidate:
Has retail experience (baby or boutique setting is a plus) Comfortable with social media and basic content creation (can grow into the role!) Friendly, thoughtful, detail-oriented, and eager to learn Passionate about beautiful things and helping people find meaningful gifts Able to work independently while being collaborative and communicative
Bonus Points:
Familiarity with Lightspeed POS Interest in baby clothing, nursery design, or family-focused retail Photography or light photo editing skills for content creation
