Your Assistant Team Lead supports day-to-day operations, keeps the team on pace, and steps in when the manager is off-duty. It’s ideal for someone experienced in customer service who’s ready to take on leadership responsibilities in a growing café. Job Responsibilities Open or close the shop (including register counts and cleanliness) Lead shifts and ensure baristas and kitchen staff stay on task Handle customer issues with confidence and professionalism Train and onboard new baristas Restock inventory and communicate low stock to the manager Assist with food prep and bar when needed Communicate effectively with kitchen and FOH teams Help enforce health, safety, and cleanliness standards Report directly to the General Manager ⭐ Qualifications 1-2 years café or restaurant experience (barista or FOH preferred) Previous leadership or shift supervisor experience a plus Comfortable with opening/closing responsibilities Strong multitasker and problem solver Friendly, professional, and team-oriented Ability to lift 30+ lbs and be on your feet for 8-hour shifts ServSafe or Food Handler certification (or willing to obtain) Join us as we create an inviting space for coffee lovers while delivering outstanding service!
