In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience. This role includes customer service, operating our in-store post office, managing store supplies and maintaining store cleanliness. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. Utilize POS systems for processing transactions accurately and efficiently. Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable products. Utilize post office POS processing outgoing customer packages and selling stamps. Managing store supplies Taking merchandise boxes to and from a lower level storage room. Store maintenance – Trash, vacuuming and mopping. Exhibit excellent phone etiquette when responding to customer calls or inquiries. Skills Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele. Experience in retail sales. Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus. Ability to perform basic retail math calculations accurately. Excellent organizational skills for maintaining stock levels and store appearance. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with customers effectively.
