Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and leading a team to achieve sales goals. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to foster a positive work environment while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. Duties Lead and motivate team members to deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment. Oversee daily operations, including cash handling, inventory management, and food preparation. Train new employees on company policies, procedures, and best practices in food service and retail operations. Implement upselling techniques to enhance sales performance and improve customer satisfaction. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining cleanliness in the café or grocery store setting. Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a clean dining area for customers. Utilize Aloha POS system for processing transactions accurately and efficiently. Analyze retail math to track sales performance and identify areas for improvement. Qualifications Previous experience in a leadership role within a grocery store or café environment is preferred. Strong skills in cash handling and familiarity with point-of-sale systems, particularly Aloha POS. Knowledge of food service operations, including food preparation techniques and safety standards. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers and team members. Ability to perform basic retail math calculations for sales tracking and reporting. A proactive approach to upselling products and enhancing the overall customer experience. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
