The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting daily operations within our retail environment, ensuring that customers receive exceptional service while maintaining efficient store operations. This position requires strong communication skills and a passion for retail sales, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Duties Assist customers with inquiries and provide excellent service to enhance their shopping experience. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently, handling transactions and cash register duties. Maintain knowledge of retail math to ensure accurate pricing and inventory management. Support inventory management by organizing merchandise, and conducting regular stock checks. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and promote products effectively. Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues to foster a positive shopping atmosphere. Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times. Requirements Previous experience in retail sales is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations is a plus. Strong basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory counts. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team members. A proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays as needed. Experience in a grocery store setting is advantageous but not required.
