In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting members and guests with their purchases, billing for lessons and clinics, and ensuring the pro shop is well-stocked and organized. The ideal candidate will have a passion for retail and helping others. Occasionally willing to help out around the property such as preparing tennis courts for use and cleaning up at the end of the day. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the pro shop. Process sales transactions efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system. Maintain an organized and visually appealing shop by stocking shelves and arranging merchandise. Answer member inquiries over the phone with professionalism and courtesy. Provide information about courts, clinics, camps and other racquet activities. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages. Skills Proficiency in using POS systems for sales transactions. Strong phone etiquette to communicate effectively with members. Previous experience in a retail environment is preferred. Ability to stock efficiently while maintaining product organization. Sales skills to promote products effectively to members . Basic math skills for calculating totals. Familiarity with retail math concepts to aid in inventory management and sales analysis.
