Retail Sales Associate Cherryville Auto & Truck Supply 1313 Shelby Highway, Cherryville, NC 28021 Job Summary Cherryville Auto & Truck Supply is an independently owned and operated NAPA Auto Parts store. This store has been located in Cherryville for over 30 years, but we are new owners as of August 2021. We are looking for a full-time Retail Sales Associate (32-40 hours/week), someone who wants to grow with the company. NAPA Auto Retail Sales Associates are the backbone of our business, delivering ecellent customer service and knowledge to our long-standing customers. Our Know-How and excellent customer service is the reason our customers continue to come back, and we depend on our Retail Sales team to exemplify our commitment to quality and service. Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service to all store customers Assist both retail and wholesale customers with their auto parts questions and needs, either in person, via telephone, or through online ordering Handle cash, credit card and other purchasing transactions Operate the store point of sale system (TAMS) to search for parts, customer accounts, also to invoice and pull orders Pull and prepare inventory orders for customer pick up or delivery (sometimes making the deliveries) Operate the electronic and paper cataloging system to retrieve up-to-date parts information Effectively communicate features, benefits and warranty policy information to customers Demonstrate a positive, helpful attitude as well as professional conduct and appearance at all times Perform all other duties as assigned by management Requirements High school diploma or equivalent work experience Must have knowledge of automotive parts Must have a valid Driver’s license with a clean driving record Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and multi-task Computer skills required; able to look up parts, invoice numbers, process sales, etc. Able to bend or stoop to floor-level shelves and be able to reach shelves with the use of stool or ladder when necessary Able to stand and walk for the entire work shift
