Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs. Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases and increase sales. Operate the cash register efficiently, handling cash transactions accurately. Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product features to effectively communicate with customers. Stock shelves and organize merchandise to ensure the store is visually appealing and well-stocked. Assist in inventory management by conducting regular stock checks and reporting discrepancies. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stockroom. Skills Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with diverse clientele. Proficiency in cash handling and operating a cash register. Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing and inventory management. Knowledge of retail math concepts to assist in sales analysis. Effective phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone. Ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining a positive shopping experience. Strong organizational skills to manage stock levels and maintain store appearance. Previous experience in sales or retail is preferred but not required.
