Retail Sales Associate/Customer Service Gaming Underground 11651 North Main Street, High Point, NC 27263 Overview We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our brand, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience. You will engage with customers, assist them in finding products, and contribute to the overall success of the store through effective sales techniques. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with their shopping needs. Demonstrate product knowledge and promote upselling opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction. Operate cash registers accurately, handling cash transactions and providing change as needed. Utilize retail math skills to manage inventory levels, restock shelves, and maintain an organized sales floor. Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and visual presentation of the store. Answer customer inquiries via phone with professional etiquette and provide information on products and services. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance overall store performance. Experience Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required. Strong understanding of basic math principles for cash handling and inventory management. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service. Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated. Familiarity with stock management processes is a plus, including receiving shipments and organizing merchandise.
