Purpose:
Design Consultants at Viridien play a pivotal role in delivering an exceptional customer experience. They engage with clients to understand their needs, provide expert advice on products, and ensure a seamless sales process from initial inquiry to delivery. The role demands proactive customer engagement, strong product knowledge, and a passion for building lasting client relationships. Successful Design Consultants will demonstrate a passion for sales, a commitment to exceptional customer service, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic retail environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide a personalized, luxury service to Viridien clientele, ensuring a seamless customer experience. Own the client experience from initial contact through delivery Grow and maintain a strong client base through proactive follow-up and exceptional service. Identify customer needs and offer expert advice on outdoor furniture fabrics, materials, and applications. Manage customer orders accurately and efficiently Investigate and resolve customer complaints promptly and effectively, directing service issues to the responsible department as needed. Actively pursue sales opportunities during downtime to maximize productivity. Collaborate with the marketing team to maximize the impact of promotional efforts. Monitor and meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive individual and team goals. Manage emails, phone calls, and customer inquiries Assist with cleanliness and merchandising in the showroom Assist with tasks as assigned by the Store Manager to ensure smooth operations.
Skills/Qualifications:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills Exceptional customer service abilities Prior experience in sales required, preferably in retail or furniture sales. Proficiency in CRM software preferred Basic understanding of accounting principles and math skills. Detail-oriented Self-motivated Possess honesty and integrity Computer literate Availability to work a variable schedule of at least 40 hours per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays required Ability to maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
Physical Requirements:
Ability to assist lifting furniture exceeding 100 lbs and boxes up to 60 lbs. Regular walking and standing throughout the workday.
