The Opportunity
We are actively looking to add a Sales Associate to our team. The Sales Associate will maintain and improve upon occupancy levels of our community in accordance with marketing and business plans. Sales Associates utilize established sales processes and systems to perform job duties, track information, compile data and achieve desired community occupancy goals. The sales process consists of assisting prospective residents, their family members, and/or advisors in the prospects decision-making process by understanding their needs and educating them about the community’s services, programs and benefits.
What You’ll Do
Build Rapport
Establish and maintain client relationships.
Discovery of the prospect’s personal and medical needs and desires.
Identify and communicate effective solutions to these needs and desires with the community’s products and services and closing and post-sales activities.
Present a warm and welcoming presence to guests, visitors, residents, families, and staff.
Develop relationships with physicians, residents, and referral sources regarding the expected discharge plan.
Create, unique, and personal follow up for potential residents and their families.
Maintains current knowledge of key competitors, strengths, and weaknesses.
Execute
Supports the efforts of the sales team to meet or exceed sales and move-in goals and defined for the community by the
RDSM/RDO.
Conducts sales activities as requested by the Sales Director. These activities may include telephone follow up to the lead base, tours, home visits and sales calls.
Completes and maintains the Five Star CRM (lead data base) for all potential residents and referral contacts within 24 hours of time of activity. This includes documentation of all completed and scheduled sales activities, including move-ins and move-outs.
Facilitate and assists with the completion of the resident move in process and completes all necessary paperwork.
What You’ll Bring
Experience & Education
High School Diploma or equivalent with some college preferred.
Experience working with seniors preferred.
Proven success working with computers including Microsoft Office Suite and contact management software applications.
Maintains a flexible schedule to accommodate the needs and schedules of prospects. This may require evening and weekend availability to accommodate move-in dates.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as presentation skills.
Proven computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and contact management software.
