Clothing Boutique Sales Associate Southern Pines Ace Hardware 445 Capital Drive, Carthage, NC 28327 Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for retail and a strong ability to engage with customers, making them feel valued and satisfied. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products. Ensure that department is always neat, clean and merchandised well for shoppers. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system and handle cash register transactions accurately. Provide product suggestions to enhance customer awareness and satisfaction. Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product features to effectively communicate with customers. Assist in inventory management, including restocking and organizing merchandise. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure a positive shopping experience. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain store standards. Uphold store policies regarding returns, exchanges, and customer service protocols. Skills Visual merchandising Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with vendors. Proficient in operating POS systems and cash registers. Strong basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele. Experience in supervising or leading team members is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to a broader range of customers.
