We’re looking for an energetic and customer-focused Retail Associate to join our team. If you thrive in a busy setting, love working with people, and have previous retail experience, this could be the perfect fit for you! This position involves 2-3 Saturdays per month, and other days as needed and available. Employees receive half off merchandise.

• Greet customers, answer questions, and get to know regulars.
• Operate square POS and handle cash and credit transactions.
• Answer the phone and hand off to management when needed.
• Help with donations (sorting, cleaning, steaming and pricing).
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, stand for 8 hours, complete repetitive tasks, work outside when needed and haul trash to the dumpster. Be able to move quickly and multi-task when needed.
• Strong customer service and retail experience needed.
• Excellent communications skills; ability to give full attention to customers.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to visually spot imperfections in merchandise.
• Ability to follow direction when asked to do specific tasks, and take initiative when necessary.
• Excellent organizational and problem solving skills.
• Must be clean and wear clean presentable attire.
• Ability to work and communicate well with co-workers and volunteers.
• Ability to cope under cluttered, crowded conditions.
• An interest or knowledge of clothing, antiques, furniture, jewelry, décor and all sorts of random items is a plus!
