Job Description ECU Department of Academic Advising & Support Center is currently seeking several CET SSC Office Assistants.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist students and guests with inquiries in a friendly and professional manner
Address and resolve concerns from students and guests efficiently and effectively
Provide accurate information regarding programs and services
Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work area
Support team members with various administrative tasks as needed
Handle transactions with students and guests accurately and responsibly Preferred (Majors, Experience, GPA, etc.) The ideal candidates will either possess experience assisting students and guests or demonstrate the ability to quickly learn these duties. This position requires a commitment to providing exceptional service to our community and contributing to a positive work environment.
Qualifications:
Current sophomore or higher with a minimum 2.75 GPA
Prior experience assisting students and guests or demonstrated ability to learn these skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Proficient in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
Availability:
Must be available to work Monday through Friday between 8 AM and 5 PM
