$53K – $95.7K a year 1 day ago Qualifications Sales Customer service Basic math 3 years High school diploma or GED Driver’s License Communication skills Entry level Full Job Description Job Summary This position will have a designated sales territory where you will be responsible for devising and executing a sales plan to generate and close new leads, upsell existing customers on additional services offered, and build relationships with our customers. Outside Sales Professionals will conduct home and property inspections by entering and navigating through crawlspaces beneath houses, potentially confined spaces, and attics near the roof of the house. Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities Tasks may include (based on services offered within assigned region), but are not limited to the following: Conducting home inspections and/or a commercial site evaluation and preparing a specific proposal for the individual homeowner’s or business needs. Building value for our customers by explaining each service offered and creating full-service solutions. Prospecting for new business, gathering information about customer needs, presenting customized solutions and closing sales. Establishing new customer contacts, prospect for fresh leads, follow up on all leads, compose and submit professional proposals and network to stay abreast of activities in the market. Establishing a “presence” within your territory by actively participating in the community and industry(s) in which you sell, to generate new leads and contacts. Making immediate contact with all leads received via phone, voice mail, email, and/or office mail. Being respectful of customers’ premises and furnishings – leave them in the same or better condition than when you arrived; cover or remove shoes. Knowing all contract terms and conditions – as well as our competitions. Attending all sales meetings and technical training classes. A successful outside sales professional will foster strong relationships with local service personnel, collaborating closely with them to deliver an exceptional customer experience. They will also train these personnel to help identify sales opportunities that arise during their workdays. Build and maintain strong relationships with the Branch and Service Managers, service professionals, administrative staff, and the new construction and builder program. Maintaining assigned sales vehicle, equipment, and tools in clean/good working condition. Adhering and abiding by all driving laws/company policies when operating company vehicles. Participating in collections efforts. Additional projects as assigned.

Qualifications:
Education, Experience, and Skills Required:

Complete a minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent. Prior sales experience is preferred but not required. Required to use ladder. Must walk, climb, stoop, reach, crawl, crouch, kneel, push, pull and lift at least 20lbs or more. Excellent communication skills including articulation, customer service and interpersonal skills required. Ability to calculate basic math. Working in a constant state of alertness and safe manner. Must have a valid driver license and be 18 years of age. Must be able to work Saturdays. Must be able to pass a seven-year criminal background check. Must be able to pass company drug screen and/or substance abuse testing. Must be able to pass a three-year motor vehicle report and meet minimum eligibility requirements criteria of insurance carrier. Associated Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of information and deal with abstract and concrete variables. Ability to read and understand product/PPE labels accurately to ensure that they are properly applied, stored and disposed of in compliance with State and Federal laws. Ability to establish strong internal and external relationships.

N/A Working Environment Works in an outside environment and is subject to inclement weather, hot, humid, cold, rainy, and other temperature and weather-related conditions. Employees are subject to sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout to be heard above ambient noise level. Works with chemicals and other industry-related products. Working Conditions/Physical Requirements Employees are required to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment. Subject to outside environmental conditions including atmospheric conditions of one or more of the following conditions that affect the respiratory systems: fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, or poor ventilation. No effective protection from the weather and from temperature changes. Works frequently in close quarters, attics, crawl spaces, small, enclosed rooms, and other areas that could cause claustrophobia. Physical requirements include exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects in addition to climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, typing, grasping, talking, hearing and repetitive motions. Equipment or Machines Routinely Used in This Position Employees will be using goggles/safety glasses, respirator stored in re-sealable bag, nitrile gloves, unlined neoprene gloves, first aid kit, eye wash, spill control, orange safety cones, label/SDS book, chemically sensitive list, shoe covers, bump cap, knee pads, flash light, coveralls, moisture meter, probing tool, respirator, leather gloves, measuring wheel, clipboard, laser measuring device, hand lens/magnifying glass, crawl boots, graph paper, step ladder, keyboard, mouse and other electronic accessories in addition to fax machines, monitors, computers, laptops, mobile devices, tablets, printers, scanners, postage meter, multi-line phone, ladders, headset or Bluetooth related devices.
