Counter Sales Associate Haney’s Tire and Automotive Care 1663 S Main St, Laurinburg, NC 28352 Overview Haney’s Tire & Automotive Service is seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Counter Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support in a fast-paced environment. Duties Greet customers and assist them with their questions and purchases in person and on the phone. Create repair orders for oil changes, tire changes, tire repairs, and service work. Our shop is a full-service automotive center located in the heart of Laurinburg Look up prices for tire sizes and order tires through vendors Demonstrate vehicle-related product and service knowledge Schedule alignments and mechanical service work Handle customer complaints or issues with professionalism and efficiency, ensuring resolution to maintain satisfaction. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and improve overall store performance. We will also train you on how to change tires, but doing so will be once in a blue moon (since we are a tire shop) Qualifications Prior experience working in the automotive field is a big plus Proven experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively. Ability to perform product demonstrations confidently to showcase product features and benefits.
