In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while handling transactions and assisting with product inquiries. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage cash handling will be essential in creating a positive shopping experience. Responsibilities Operate the cash register efficiently and accurately during transactions. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while maintaining proper cash handling procedures. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing concerns. Assist customers with product demonstrations and provide information about features and benefits. Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and store policies to assist customers effectively. Stock shelves and ensure products are organized and displayed attractively. Perform retail math calculations to ensure accurate pricing and discounts. Utilize POS systems for processing transactions and managing inventory. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations. Qualifications Previous experience in a cashier or sales role is preferred but not required. Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail. Excellent phone etiquette for customer inquiries over the phone. Familiarity with retail math concepts for accurate transaction processing. Ability to perform product demos and engage customers in conversation about products. Proficient in using cash registers and POS systems. Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
