About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking an Investment Banking Program Associate to join our Consumer & Retail Investment Banking team within Wells Fargo’s Corporate & Investment Banking. Associates assume significant responsibility that includes: Developing and maintaining models to depict projected financial results and to value companies Supporting various financial analyses, including valuations and merger consequences Performing comprehensive and in-depth company and industry research Preparing presentations and other materials for clients Conducting research, participating in strategic planning and assisting in the execution of advisory services Participating in client meetings, due diligence visits, and other client interactions to gain exposure to key executives and senior bankers Developing and mentoring junior talent Collaborating and consulting with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals Interacting with internal and external customers
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of Investment Banking Program experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
An MBA or equivalent, with coursework in financial accounting and corporate finance 2+ years of professional experience in investment banking or related industries Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment. Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment. Strong financial modeling skills. Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy. Professional experience through internships, part-time or full-time work, and/or extracurricular activities. Dedication to building a career in Investment Banking. Willingness to work long hours in a demanding, highly focused collaborative and fast paced team environment with a sense of personal accountability and urgency for achieving results.
Job Expectations:
FINRA Series 63, 79, and the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted. Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
Additional Compensation Details:
Base Salary – $175,000 – $225,000
