Carolindica is a small, family-owned business operating a cannabis manufacturing facility and three retail dispensaries. We craft our own cannabis products and are looking for qualified individuals to grow with our team and help us ensure top notch experiences for our retail customers. The primary role is to assist customers in selecting the perfect cannabis products for themselves. This includes welcoming customers, making sure the store is organized and fully stocked, and sharing information about cannabis products to address customer questions and concerns. You will be trained to answer customers’ questions regarding the different strains/types of cannabis, their intended uses, and methods of consumption. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a retail POS system to complete payments, as well as knowledge of the various effects and benefits of hemp/cannabis products. Ultimately, an outstanding Budtender should be able to demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills to ensure customers are well-informed and satisfied with their purchases. On top of their base pay, our amazing budtenders earn exciting cash and card tips that reward their stellar performance with customers!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

All employees must be able to commute to our Raleigh & Fuquay-Varina facilities on a daily basis. Please do not apply if you are not able to commute to the job site, as we are not offering relocation assistance for this position Educating customers on the safe use of their selected cannabis products Advising customers on suitable cannabis products based on their needs, preferences, budgets, and reactions to different strains of cannabis Accountable for accurately utilizing the Point of Sale system to process payments Staying up to date of new cannabis products on the market as well as the latest industry trends through trade shows and research Correctly weighing, packaging, and labeling cannabis products as required Checking customers’ identification documents to verify that they are of legal age Taking inventory of products and ensuring that the sales floor is adequately stocked Providing customer service to our online customers via Tawk Ensuring that the dispensary is clean and well-organized at all times Emphasize the company’s ability to focus on our customers and give them the time, value and respect they deserve Promote a work environment that is positive, customer service oriented and compliant with established policies and procedures. Willingness to ask for help, product information, and any questions. Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements & Skills Must be 21 years of age or older High School Diploma or education equivalent. Able to work a flexible schedule Desire to learn about products in order to assist customers A positive, outgoing personality with strong communication skills Ability to accurately count cash and give change Job Type & Compensation This is a W2 part time position (15-35 hours per week). Wages start at $13.00-$15.00 an hour + tips, with a variety of opportunities for full time roles, promotions, raises and other advancements inside our company. With outstanding performance, tips can soar to over $200 each paycheck!
