If so, then this may be the job for you. The Inside Sales Associate (ISA) is responsible for partnering with and supporting a Regional Sales Team. This person assists in managing the Sales Pipeline, updates CRM to reflect all current communications with clients, receives incoming calls and ensures a great customer experience by navigating deal stages, handoffs and follow-ups. Additionally, the Inside Sales Associate will ensure that all sales records in the database are properly maintained and updated. Essential Duties / Responsibilities Collaborate with Inside Sales Manager, Outside Sales Manager and Estimator to identify and track all customer steps after the Lead stage within region. Engage with Astro Pak’s customers as well as Astro Pak’s Sales and Estimating teams via phone and email to follow up on quotes, inquiries, bid’s proposed, and project start dates. Create, update, and actively manage all new, active, and outstanding CRM records and deal project stages (pipeline management). Travel to key Trade Shows and events. Self-initiated participation in sales training & professional development classes as needed. Manage time and tasks efficiently staying focused on the sales goal. Handle multiple tasks simultaneously Competence to comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures Other duties as assigned by manager. Export Control Laws Qualifications Education/Training/Certifications:
Must have a high school diploma. Prefer some college, preferably in business or technical field. Individual must possess excellent presentation/communication skills and the ability to work under minimal or no supervision. Being mechanically inclined, in order to read and understand mechanical drawings, is a plus.
Related Experience:
Have a successful and quantifiable track record (2-4 years) in a quota-driven sales environment. A knack for prospecting and selling technical services and familiar with the pharmaceutical or water systems industries is a plus.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Excellent computer skills using CRM database, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Effective communication skills in both verbal and written (training / presentations /report writing). Ability to interact at all levels of company and with people of various backgrounds and experience. Sales-driven, self-motivated, energetic, persuasive, organized, independent, with an entrepreneurial spirit. Must possess the ability to learn our service offering, systems we process, and the impact chemistry has on metals. Legal capacity to comply with federally mandated requirements of the U.S. Export Control Laws.
Travel:
Must be willing and able to travel overnight by land and/or air up to 10% of the time
