Our business, House of Many Porches, is an artisan grab & go market situated in beautiful Downtown Dix Park. We offer many options such as coffee, pastries, sandwiches, local products, beer/wine, snacks and more. We are primarily looking for weekend help with some flexible shifts throughout the week. Our pay range is $17-$20/per hour base plus tips and potential bonuses! The weekend tips are always awesome during nice weather! The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a keen interest in retail food & beverage operations. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing an exceptional shopping experience for our customers while effectively managing store operations. Responsibilities Greet customers and assist them in finding products that meet their needs. Prepare coffee/other beverages for guests (including pouring beer & wine). Maintain accurate inventory levels and assist with stock management. Handle cashless transactions efficiently and accurately using the POS system. Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases and boost sales. Maintain a clean and organized space, ensuring all merchandise is properly stocked and displayed. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and improve overall store performance. Requirements Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not mandatory. Proven ability to create a positive shopping experience for customers. Experience with operating POS systems advantageous. Excellent communication skills for effective customer interactions. A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work various shifts (although we are looking for primarily weekend and maybe 1-2 weekday shifts).
