Retail Associate/Cashier Sam’s Dapper Dog 80 Premium Outlets Boulevard, Merrimack, NH 03054 Job Summary Sam’s Dapper Dog is hiring a Retail Associate/Cashier for our store at the Merrimack Premium Outlets. This role includes helping customers, handling transactions, and keeping the store clean and organized. If you’re dependable and enjoy working around dogs and people, we’d like to hear from you. Responsibilities Operate the register and process transactions efficiently and accurately using our POS system. Greet customers warmly and offer knowledgeable assistance with our dog accessories, treats, and human apparel. Promote sales, specials, and featured products to drive customer engagement and increase sales. Restock and merchandise shelves to maintain a visually appealing and organized store environment. Answer customer questions in-store and over the phone with professionalism and a helpful attitude. Support daily store operations including inventory checks, product tagging, and opening/closing procedures. Maintain a clean and inviting checkout area and retail space. Assist with setting up and breaking down product displays, especially for events or seasonal promotions. Requirements Prior experience in retail, customer service, or cash handling is preferred but not required—we’re happy to train the right fit. Comfortable using a POS system and handling transactions. Friendly, outgoing, and team-oriented with strong communication skills. Reliable and punctual, with a flexible schedule including weekends. A love for dogs is a big plus!
