When you join our team as an Assistant Store Manager, youll takeon key store management responsibilities including assisting withsupervising day-to-day store activities, ensuring overall storeperformance, managing schedules, and developing operational actionplans while identifying training opportunities to develop and growthe team.

Duties andResponsibilities:
Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonableaccommodation Assists the direct leader with developing andimplementing action plans to improve operating results Establishes and communicates job responsibilities and performanceexpectations to their direct reports to ensure mutual understandingand desired results Identifies training and development opportunities that will assisttheir direct reports in achieving enhanced performance Understands the overarching company strategy, as well ascommunicates and models the core values of the organization, tocreate a sense of teamwork and membership among employees Monitors the competitive environment within the community andinforms the direct leader regarding adjustments necessary tomaintain the companys competitive position Provides product feedback to the direct leader, including makingrecommendations regarding new items to carry or those that shouldbe discontinued Participates in the interviewing process for store personnel Communicates information including weekly information, major teammilestones, developments, and concerns Ensures store personnel adhere to inventory procedures, producthandling guidelines, and cash control policies to minimizelosses Ensures an appropriate resolution of operational customer concernsin their direct leaders absence Identifies and rectifies hazards, ensuring proper ergonomics andmaintaining store equipment in proper working order Maintains store cleanliness standards and proper store signage atall times Assists the direct leader with maintaining proper stock levelsthrough appropriate product ordering Merchandises product neatly to maximize sales Ensures the quality and freshness of products for sale and accuracyof product signage Assists their direct leader with achieving the store payroll andtotal loss budget, inventory counts, and training new employees Supervises the day-to-day operations of their team, escalatingissues to the appropriate level of support and/or leadership whennecessary Ensures direct reports complete assigned responsibilities in atimely and effective manner to provide the highest level ofcustomer service for the business Complies with all established company policies and procedures whileupholding the security and confidentiality of documents anddata Other duties as assigned
Physical Demands:
Ability to stockmerchandise from store receiving to shelving; ability to placeproduct, weighing up to 45 pounds, on shelving at variousheights Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift,carry, and walk about the store Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonableaccommodations

Education and Experience:
