Job Overview:

Looking for Farmer’s Market Sales Associate We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our farmers market team. Work is part time with flexible hours. Represent Warner River Produce at local New Hampshire farmers markets in Hopkinton (Boulder Farm), Franklin and or Canterbury. As Farmers Market Staff, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of a specific farmers market. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent people skills, and a passion for engaging with the public. Most markets are 3 hrs long not including travel time and setup/breakdown. Generally, a shift is one market. Our Boulder Farm market runs from 10-6:30 Fri-Sun and 2:30-6:30 Mon-Thur. You pick the number of shifts, location and day(s) you want to work. Market Locations, days and times: Canterbury Farmers Market, Wednesdays, 4:00-6:30 Franklin Thursdays 3:00-6:00 Boulder Farm Sundays 10:00 AM

Responsibilities:

• Picking up van and produce in Webster
• Drive to the market location
• Set up tents, tables and produce (lifting 40lbs)
• Selling products and recording sales transactions
• Handle cash, debit card, credit card, Venmo and Apple pay transactions
• Break down at the end of market
• Clean work area

• Strong customer service skills with experience in retail sales and product demonstrations
• Proficiency in basic math and retail math for accurate transactions
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience in upselling and merchandising to maximize sales opportunities
• Prior experience in electronics sales, wireless sales, or technical sales is a plus
• Strong organizational skills and time management abilities
