Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and engage them in conversation to understand their jewelry needs. Provide knowledgeable recommendations on various jewelry products, including diamonds, gemstones, and precious metals. Utilize effective upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases and increase sales. Maintain a clean and organized display of merchandise, ensuring all items are well-presented. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math for register operations. Communicate effectively with customers over the phone, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and managing stock levels. Stay informed about current trends in jewelry design and retail sales strategies to better serve customers. Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is required, particularly in a similar environment. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively. Basic math skills required for cash handling and retail math calculations. A keen eye for detail and a passion for jewelry is highly desirable.
