Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. Provide knowledgeable answers to customer inquiries regarding products and services. Operate the cash register efficiently, processing transactions accurately and handling cash with care. Utilize retail math skills to assist customers with pricing inquiries and product availability. Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the customer shopping experience and increase sales. Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring products are well-stocked and displays are attractive. Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering customer calls or inquiries. Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and enhance overall customer satisfaction. Experience Previous experience in customer service or retail is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems is advantageous. Basic math skills are essential for handling transactions accurately.
