Responsibilities Greet customers as they enter the store and provide assistance in locating products. Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately using POS systems. Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product features to effectively upsell items. Assist customers with inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional manner. Ensure the sales floor is well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing. Perform retail math calculations for pricing, discounts, and inventory management. Uphold store policies regarding returns, exchanges, and customer service standards. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction. Skills Proven experience in retail sales or a similar customer-facing role is preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively. Familiarity with cash register operations and POS systems is essential. Basic understanding of retail math for pricing and inventory tasks. Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone. Ability to upsell products by identifying customer needs and preferences.
