Retail Sales Associate Randolph Liquors 301 South Salem Street, Dover, NJ 07801 Overview We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. You will assist with daily operations, maintain store standards, and contribute to achieving sales goals. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs. Operate cash registers efficiently, handling cash transactions accurately and responsibly. Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product information to effectively communicate with customers. Assist in stocking shelves, organizing merchandise displays, and ensuring the store is clean and well-presented. Process returns and exchanges according to store policies while providing excellent customer service. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance the overall shopping experience. Supervise junior staff as needed, providing guidance and support in their roles. Skills Proven experience in retail sales or a similar customer-facing role is preferred. Proficiency in cash handling and operating cash registers with accuracy. Strong understanding of retail math to assist in inventory management and sales tracking. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service. Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus but not required. Ability to maintain phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries over the phone. Strong sales skills with a passion for helping customers find the right products. Leadership qualities to supervise staff effectively when required.
