Major Appliance Sales Associate Automatic Appliance 2 Stage Door Road, Fishkill, NY 12524 Automatic Appliance in Fishkill, NY is currently seeking an Appliance Salesperson. Full Time or Part Time! Duties include assisting customers, closing sales, processing payments, answering phones, email and text inquiries. The successful candidate will have basic computer skills, excellent communication skills, be team oriented, able to work in a fast-paced environment and be a self-starter willing to use available training materials to learn general appliance knowledge as well as specific model features. Previous appliance sales experience helpful but not required. We are open Monday-Friday 8:30am to 5pm and Saturday 8:30am to 1pm. Responsibilities Provide excellent customer and sales service Assess customers’ needs and provide assistance and information on product features Assist coworkers in keeping showroom organized and clean Be able to explain product features and available options Work as a team with other employees to ensure proper customer service Requirements Working knowledge of Windows based computers Proficiency in English, ability to speak and understand Spanish a plus Solid communication and interpersonal skills Customer service oriented Due to the heavy volume of applicants, we are not accepting phone calls.
