Full-Time Job Description:

Smokes 4 Less is seeking a motivated and experienced Store Lead for our Hyde Park location. This full-time position requires a strong background in retail management and customer service, with weekend and holiday availability as needed. As the Store Lead, your primary responsibility is to LEAD the staff at your location, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all compliance requirements and training for both current and new employees. Enforce organization, efficiency, time management, and overall store upkeep. Maintain store operations through self-delegation and strong leadership skills. Place New York Lotto orders, manage lottery inventory, and load tickets into the Lotto vending machine. Complete shift reports for the Lotto vending machine and end-of-month lottery inventory. Manage the ATM, including loading and maintaining it. Perform sales of money orders and wire transfers through MoneyGram. Request inventory from the wholesale department as needed using a digital request system. Provide guidance on smoking products (e.g., premium cigars, vaping products, Kratom, CBD, and glassware) and educate customers to enhance their shopping experience.

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of retail management experience. Basic computer skills required. Experience with a lottery terminal, including playing customer numbers, placing orders, and checking in orders. Experience with a Lotto Vending Machine, including loading/unloading tickets and completing shift reports. Strong knowledge of smoking products (premium cigars, glass, vapes, snus, nicotine pouches, humidor maintenance, CBD, Kratom) is highly preferred. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to self-delegate, multitask, and work independently. Reliable with a strong work ethic. Must have a valid driver’s license and own transportation.
