As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment for customers, assisting them with their needs, and ensuring that our store is well-stocked and organized. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs. Maintain knowledge of current sales promotions and store policies to provide accurate information to customers. Operate cash registers, handle cash transactions, and ensure accurate cash handling procedures are followed. Stock shelves, organize merchandise displays, and ensure the store is clean and visually appealing. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting discrepancies. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance the overall shopping experience. Supervise junior staff when necessary, providing guidance and support to foster a positive work environment. Skills Proven experience in sales or retail environments is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele. Proficiency in cash handling and operating cash registers accurately. Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with a broader customer base. Familiarity with retail math concepts to assist in inventory management and sales reporting. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. Excellent organizational skills to maintain stock levels and store presentation.
