budtender Position Available In Kings, New York

Were hiring a part-time Budtender with strong customer service skills and experience in either cannabis retail or fashion retail. You should be personable, professional, a quick thinker, and thrive in high-pressure, high-volume environments. This role is ideal for someone whos passionate about cannabis, understands the importance of compliance, and is comfortable with technology and point-of-sale (POS) systems. All applicants must be 21 and up.

Responsibilities:

Guide customers through product selection based on needs and legal limitsOperate the POS system accurately and efficiently during high-volume shiftsEnsure full compliance with New York State cannabis laws and regulationsCheck and verify customer IDs (must be 21+), following all age and purchase-limit protocolsProvide clear product knowledge and cannabis education to a diverse customer baseMaintain store cleanliness, organization, and visual presentationAssist with inventory tracking and restockingCollaborate with teammates and support a smooth, efficient retail environmentSolve problems quickly and calmly under pressure

Qualifications:

Previous experience in cannabis retail or fashion retail strongly preferredStrong interpersonal and communication skillsTech-savvy; comfortable using a POS and retail softwareAbility to multitask, prioritize, and think on your feetReliable, punctual, and a true team playerComfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays as neededMust be 21+ and legally eligible to work in New York StateFamiliarity with New York State cannabis compliance (or willingness to learn quickly)
