Provide knowledgeable assistance regarding products and services to enhance customer satisfaction. Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Maintain an organized and well-stocked sales floor by restocking shelves and organizing merchandise. Assist in supervising junior staff members when necessary, ensuring adherence to store policies and procedures. Process returns and exchanges efficiently while addressing customer concerns professionally. Utilize point-of-sale (POS) systems effectively for transactions and inventory management. Perform basic math calculations to ensure accurate pricing and change is provided to customers. Requirements Previous experience in customer service or retail sales is preferred but not mandatory. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus. Experience with cash handling and operating a cash register is desirable. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
