You will play a key role in driving sales and maintaining the overall appearance of the store. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in locating products. Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing returns. Utilize Point of Sale (POS) systems to process sales efficiently. Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product information to effectively upsell products. Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times. Assist in training and supervising new staff members as needed. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance the overall shopping experience. Skills Strong cash handling skills with experience operating cash registers or POS systems. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building relationships with customers. Ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining a friendly demeanor. Previous retail sales experience is preferred, especially in a grocery store environment. Bilingual abilities are a plus to assist diverse customer needs.
