Jacob Cohen is currently looking for a part-time Sales Associate for its new store opening at Belmont Park Village in Elmont, New York. You will directly report to the Store Manager.

Your main responsibilities will be:

Provide industry leading customer service building guest loyalty through in-store experience. Continuously demonstrate product knowledge to enhance sales, use company-provided resources to deepen understanding of product assortment. Under the guidance and direction of Store Manager and/or other Store Leadership complete operational objectives including opening and closing the store, cash handling, inventory, and other tasks as assigned and demonstrates flexibility and adaptability when workload or tasks are changed as necessitated by business. Promotes cooperation and commitment within the team to achieve goals and celebrates team accomplishments and shares credit with others. Proactively seeks feedback for performance and opportunities for growth. Support operational aspect of enhancing the customers experience through POS policies and procedures. Support in the development and roll-out of any clienteling and customer experience policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Retail experience or similar industry experience in a luxury, high-volume or high-profile specialty environment preferred Ability to effectively communicate with customers and store personnel Ability to maneuver around the sales floor, stock/dressing room, cashwrap and office; lift/climb up to 30 lbs. and climb moderately Ability to operate the register, stand, move and walk for multiple hours Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, which will require day, evening, weekends and may include overnight shifts and travel (as required) Proven track record of success, including a demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with customers, management and co-workers. Planning and prioritization/time management skills We offer: The salary range is $20-$21 . The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon the candidates’ relevant skills and experience.
