Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Luxury Sales Associate to join our team at Ochre in Lower Manhattan. As a Luxury Sales Associate, you will be the face of our store on Saturdays, providing exceptional client experiences, answering questions, passing leads along to sales reps, and contributing to the overall success of our new showroom.

Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

Greet clients warmly and provide a positive showroom experience. Answer client questions about products, materials, lead times, etc… Maintain a log of foot traffic information for sales reps to track when their clients visit the space on the weekends. Maintain a clean, organized, and upscale showroom floor.

Sales:

Develop and maintain strong product knowledge. Maintain strong knowledge on price points and communicate effectively with end client and design clients entering the showroom. Process leads and pass their information along to the respective sales representative.

Store Operations:

Assist with opening and closing procedures. Maintain the organization of the sample cabinets, staff pantry, storage areas, and showroom gallery. Ensure all catalogues and brochures are organized and stocked throughout the showroom. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Teamwork:

Collaborate effectively with other team members to ensure smooth store operations. Provide support to other sales reps as needed.

Qualifications:

Experience:

Previous interior retail sales experience preferred, but not required.

Skills:

Excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong sales skills and ability to build rapport with clients. Knowledgeable on the interior design industry. Ability to work independently. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to handle a fast-paced, upscale environment.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods of time, lift and carry merchandise, and move around the store.

Schedule/Benefits:

This is a part time position, with a schedule of Saturday 11-6 pm and Friday/Monday 10-6 pm. $20-25/hour pay rate This position is not eligible for health insurance.
