Job Summary:

OGX is seeking Retail Team Members to assist with retail and photo operations at The FRIENDS™ Experience – NYC, while also preserving the cleanliness of the retail space. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and has knowledge of guest support and interactions. This part time position pays $19.00 per hour.

Responsibilities:

Work with the Retail Lead to ensure that the area is clean Maintain cleanliness of the retail area including sweeping floors, wiping down surfaces, and removing trash Have a “go beyond” mindset when helping guests. Create a fun and welcoming environment for guests Report needed repairs and maintenance Cash out guests Answer questions about retail items Additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

Must be able to remain in a stationary standing position more than 75% of the time Must be able to move about inside the exhibit space Must be able to commit to a minimum of three shifts, one of which must be on a weekend day Constantly positions self to clean and maintain exhibit equipment Frequently lifts and moves items / equipment weighing up to 50 pounds Able to work a variable schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays Your strengths include: Exceptional communication skills Organized and detail oriented Ability to multitask Cash handling Reliable proactive team player Your experience: High school diploma (or its equivalent) preferred Knowledge of cash handling Knowledge of guest services Previous retail experience
